TRANSMISSIONS is a weekly, and sometimes daily collection of my thoughts, Daniel Pitner. I am a designer living in Dallas, Texas specializing in all facets of digital design including, but not limited to, website design, flash design, print design, logo and identity design, video effects and motion graphics, and so on. This site is dedicated mostly to these topics, but often I like to spout my opinion about various subjects of the past, present, and the future.

My main website, DanielPitner.com was the first in the marriage between my portfolio, and this journal of my thoughts. The portfolio site is very earthy and terrestrial, so for the blog, I wanted to go very extra-terrestrial. Since I was just a young dude I’ve always been fascinated with science fiction. Just looking at the header for the site should give some insight as to the theme of this blog. I like to think of it as my mind and all the little, dark, creepy things that I ponder on a daily basis being unleashed onto the world. Maybe I’ll write a story about it?
